Workplace Drug & Alcohol Testing

Rig Ratz Safety offers a full range of comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Tests, both DOT and non-DOT. Our services include on-site testing, mobile testing, outside emergency calls, and after-hours service.

All tests are administered by professional certified staff members who maintain quality and confidentiality.

A detailed results report is sent to the employer immediately following the test. All participants are provided with a wallet card.

Respirator Fit Testing

Annual respirator fit tests are a requirement for many in the Oil & Gas industry. Rig Ratz Safety offers quantitative fit testing on a wide variety of full and half-masks using the PortaCount Pro device, recognized by CSA Standard CAN/CSA-Z94.4-18.

Each participant/employer will receive a detailed Fit Test Report and wallet card for the mask(s) tested.

Industrial Audiometric Testing

We provide Industrial Audiometric (hearing) Testing using our state-of-the-art Trimetrics RA660 Industrial Audiometer and our professional soundproof audiology rooms. These tests establish a baseline hearing level for workers who are exposed to noise in the workplace. With that baseline, we can monitor and flag any negative impact of exposure to noise in the workplace on future tests.

Test results are provided to both the employee and the employer with easy-to-understand graphs and written summaries. We also provide counselling on hearing protection – proper donning, care & maintenance, and alternate/more suitable options.

All hearing tests are administered by our Industrial Audiometric Technicians certified by WorkSafe BC.

Spirometry Lung Function Testing

Rig Ratz Safety provides testing for workers who are exposed to occupational respiratory hazards to assist in early detection and prevention of lung disease. Testing is provided by trained and certified technicians using the EasyOne Air Spirometer.

Comprehensive printed results are provided to both the participant and the employer.
